MEXICO BEACHES

México is a tourist destination related directly to its beaches and you can divide the Mexico beaches in two types: the ones on the Pacific and the ones on the Caribbean. But in this big country with a lot of amazing places...which are the best beaches, the ones that you should really visit?

The beaches on the Caribbean tend to have warmer waters and whiter sand, but the beaches on the Pacific offer the spectacular color of its waters, and if you're a wave lover, perfect surfing beaches. Anyway, they all have their beauty, and you can spend a dreamy vacation in any of them.

Another Mexican attraction, which combines perfectly with the beaches, are the archeological ruins. In the last years, important discoveries have been made about the Aztec and Mayan populations. There are also the classic Teotihuacan Ruins, close to Mexico City, the capital of the country, or Uxmal, the most important Mayan Ruins of Yucatan.

The place that better combines the remains of the Mexican Indigenous history with its spectacular beaches is Tulum the walled Mayan city on the Caribbean. Near there, always on the Caribbean, is another one of the best Mexican beaches, Playa del Carmen which, along with Tulum and the Cozumel and Xcaret islands, are the most important destinations of the Mayan Riviera

Close to the Mayan Riviera is the most famous international destination of Mexico: Cancún, which besides excellent beaches offers an impressive hotel infrastructure, the wildest nightlife and the best nightclubs of Mexico. Right in front of Cancún, there's an important island surrounded by legends and myths, Isla Mujeres.

On the Pacific, let's start with Huatulco from the south, there's a succession of fabulous Mexican beaches. So in Oaxaca, Puerto Escondido offers excellent beaches for surf lovers. In Jalisco, Puerto Vallarta stands out for its astonishing beaches, and finally we get to the "Pearl of the Pacific": Acapulco. With a temperature that is never lower than 22°C, a great hotel and building infrastructure, and of course, its spectacular beaches. Acapulco competes with Cancún for the preferred tourist destination in Mexico. But that's no problem. The Caribbean and the Pacific don't meet.

Of course in any of the Mexican beaches you can enjoy something that's made Mexico famous: its particular gastronomy. The use of spices in Mexican food can be enjoyed in any cosmopolitan city of the world, but that's never comparable with the peculiarity of tasting it in situ.

The beaches of Mexico are a complete tourist destination, with ruins, history, gastronomy, magic towns, wild nights and modern nightclubs, as well as isolated and tranquil beaches. Ideal for a honeymoon or to fall in love, the Mexican beaches are a fantastic option for your next vacations.
