Los Cabos is located on the south of the Baja California Peninsula, and is one of the most exclusive destinations of Mexico in constant growth. ACTIVITIES - WHAT TO DO

In Los Cabos you'll find about 80 kilometers of spectacular beaches. With a great beauty, they are all suitable for any type of sport, and they're fully equipped for servicing tourists.

One of the most visited ones is Playa Palmilla, in San José del Cabo, with white sands and transparent and calm water, ideal to be enjoyed with the family. Diving, fishing and snorkeling are popular activities as well, because its waters have an amazing amount of marine species. One of the beaches that couples seek is Playa del Amor, ideal for sailing and kayaking, at the time that offers privacy and romanticism. The most visited site by experienced divers is Cascadas de Arena, because the diversity of marine fauna is incredible, expert guidance is recommended. For surfing fans, the right place is Acapulquito.

Numerous water sports and activities can be practiced, like surfing, snorkeling, sailing, fishing, kayaking, sport fishing and diving, are possible in these beaches. You'll find excellent installations and every service needed to practice your favorite sport.

Between January and March, one of the main attractions is the gray whale, which comes from thousands of kilometers away to get to the warm and calm waters of Los Cabos, where it seeks food as well as breeding, tourists can come and admire this natural spectacle.

Los Cabos has a top class marina. Fishing boats, sailboats, luxurious private yachts on its 380 individual slips, complete the picturesque landscape for the enjoyment of the visitors. For navigation lovers, there's the Marina Cabo San Lucas, a top class marina with all the commodities, with about 400 floating piers and numerous luxurious services for tourists.

From any of the isolated beaches you will be able to enjoy the beauty of El Arco: a rocky formation sculpted by the sea, where the Pacific waters meet the Mar de Cortés.

WEATHER - WHEN TO GO

The weather in Los Cabos is normally dry and sunny, the conditions vary according to the zone, but most of the days are sunny and the average temperature is 27ºC. From June to September it reaches 33ºC. The fluctuations in temperature depend on the proximity to the sea or the desert, being cooler near the sea.
